STROMMOUSSHELD Hard At Work On New Album
November 11, 2006Polish experimental black metallers STROMMOUSSHELD are currently hard at work on their, as-yet-untitled album at SH Studio in Katowice, Poland. "The recording session is going awesome," vocalist/guitarist Maels writes on the group's web site. "It's the first time we're working with no deadlines at all, so we concentrate only on the most important things for us making the best album as we can do nowadays. Most of orchestrations, loops, synths, samples and guitars tracks are already layered, there're only bass guitars and drums left to record. It seems we'll finish the recordings in late December and enter the Green Studio to mix the tracks in January 2007."
STROMMOUSSHELD's new material is being described as more "down-tempo and avantgarde" than the band's previous efforts. Several special quests are also confirmed to appear on the CD, including Vliege9, Valdi Moder and CH District.
STROMMOUSSHELD issued its most recent EP, "Halfdecadance", in 2004 via Metal Mind Productions.
